The Ambassador Committee of the Warsaw Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce (WKChamber) has chosen Joseph M. Thallemer Vision Care Center as Chamber Member of the Month for April, 2013.

Joseph M. Thallemer Vision Care Center is located at 3301 E. Center Street Ext. in Warsaw. They are proud to have served patients and the community since 1977, with the last ten years at their present location.

Besides Dr. Joseph Thallemer, there are two additional doctors on staff: Dr. Rachel Johnson and Dr. Aaron Frey. They offer comprehensive vision care and a full line of ophthalmic products and services including a full line of lens products and treatments for "high definition quality" vision. They also boast one of the largest selections of eyeglass frames in the area. Their doctors will also evaluate and custom fit a wide variety of standard contact lens products.

One of their specialties is custom fit contact lenses for correction of more complicated vision conditions. The doctors also evaluate and offer treatment options for all visual conditions and ocular emergencies. For several decades, their doctors have volunteered and served on many community boards and organizations. They initiated and developed the annual first-grade vision screening program over thirty years ago serving the Warsaw Community Schools and local private schools. They haven't missed a school screening since its inception. Their doctors have also volunteered for several international eye-missions including Africa and Honduras.
